PRWeek sat down with One Strategy Group CEO David Meadvin and incoming-Managing Director Steven Gottlieb to discuss OSG's new acquisition of Denver- and Seattle-based advisory firm Gottlieb Group Consulting.
The deal brings Gottlieb's agency brand and book of business into One Strategy Group, where the OSG team expertise and the Paritee international network can support his work serving his clients.
“What is best for my relationships, my network, my clients is to have access to a deeper bench of talented people who have different experiences, where they can bring new ideas and fresh thinking to the people that make up my network and make up my business life,” Gottlieb told PRWeek. “My goals are to provide a bigger platform for my clients and for me to do the work that I love doing.”
As PRWeek noted, the acquisition of Gottlieb Group Consulting is the first purchase for One Strategy Group after Paritee took a majority stake in the firm earlier this year.
“The industry is shifting really quickly and we have a strong conviction about where it's going and why we're building for exactly the right place amid all of the upheaval,” Meadvin told PRWeek about Gottlieb’s appointment.
“When I think about working with [Gottlieb], the current team and some of the other companies and individuals we're bringing in, our goal is to be positioned to provide world-class advisory service built on great people, empowered by tech,” Meadvin added. “[Gottlieb] is a really important part of that story.”
